The SurroundVideo Series 8MP Outdoor Dome Camera from Arecont Vision consists of four sensors, each with a 1600 x 1200 resolution, for a total resolution of 8MP. The sensors use 3.5mm lenses with f/1.8 apertures for four 96° fields of view, and the camera has the capability to capture a 360° panoramic field of view. Furthermore, a mechanical tilt adjustment function allows you to locate each sensor angle within ±10°, and an easily adjustable 2-axis gimbal enables each sensor to pan 360° and tilt 90°. The camera is housed in a single IP66-rated weatherproof and IK10-rated impact-resistant dome cover, and it comes with a built-in heater and blower for use in hot or cold climates. ONVIF Profile S compliance provides compatibility with a wide variety of surveillance items for connecting the camera to an NVR or NAS. The camera features backlight compensation and auto multi-matrix white balance for capturing high-quality images in ambient lighting. Additionally, programmable resolution, brightness, saturation, gamma, sharpness, and tint enable you to configure your camera based on various environments. A programmable shutter speed assists in controlling motion blur, and a flexible cropping setting allows you to crop the picture down to 1x1 pixel using JPEG formatting and down to 2x2 pixels using H.264 formatting. There are up to 1024 detection zones per sensor for real-time motion detection, and privacy masking offers customization of your viewing field. The camera can be powered using PoE technology for a minimum of wires during setup, or it can be powered with a traditional auxiliary power cord.
